Stabilizer/Emulsifier & Co-Emulsifier P500L
Basic parameters:
Appearance: white to yellow paste
PH (1% aqueous solution): 4.8-7.0
Cloud point: 60-75℃
Scope of use:
As an emulsifier and co-emulsifier, the addition amount of this product in the preparation is around 0.5-3%. For example, adding 0.5% to the prochloraz (EW) can effectively improve the stability of the preparation. This product is widely used because it provides better performance with less addition amount and does not change the original formula from client.
Recommended usage:
1. Stabilizer: It has excellent performance in maintaining the stability of EW, ME, EC, and SC dispersion systems. The general addition amount is 0.5~1%.
2. Improve emulsifying property. Remove 30% of the original main emulsifier and replace it with this product, and the emulsification effect will be significantly improved.
Storage, transportation, and handling
Store in a ventilated and cooling place, avoid exposure to the sunshine (avoid exceeding 60°C), transport according to general chemical product requirements, and avoid contact with skin and eyes directly.
Introduction
When it comes to formulating various dosage forms such as EC, EW, ME, SC, WP, and WDG, stability is key. One of the secret ingredients behind the stability of these formulations is P500L. In this article, we'll delve into what P500L is, its components, functions, applications, and how to effectively utilize it.
P500L is a non-ionic hydroxyl polyethylene oxide block copolymer, which essentially means it's a complex molecule designed to serve specific purposes in formulations. Its unique structure grants it remarkable properties that are highly sought after in the world of chemistry and formulation.
The composition of P500L includes polyethylene oxide, which is responsible for its non-ionic nature, as well as hydroxyl groups that enhance its interactions within various systems.
