Example of Kewe SC formulation: 4% Mevinphos + 12% Indoxacarb SC
1. Difficulties and problems in formulation
Due to the unique physicochemical properties of mevinphos, mevinphos single agent and its compounding into a suspension agent, mevinphos content of 3% or less is relatively simple, but the mevinphos content of more than 3% in the processing process is prone to abrasive pasting (such as Figure 1-1), hot storage of precipitation, bottoming pasting and other phenomena (such as Figure 1-2, Figure 1-3). To address this problem, through a large number of tests on the dispersant, wetting agent screening, we developed a special additives for the methyl viologen and its compound preparation, brand KY-SC15J, can solve such problems, and additives, low cost, good stability of the preparation.

3.Detecting the indicators of the preparation
1.Hot storage at 54℃ for 14 days, both of them are uniform and transparent.

2. 14 days of hot storage, precipitation is less than 10%, no bottoming.

3. The particle size (D90) of the preparation increased from 6.318um to 8.474um in 14d of hot storage, which was within the controllable range.

4.Summary
KY-SC15J additive has strong versatility to the original drug of mevinphos, small viscosity of the preparation and strong product stability. We not only experimented 4% mevinphos + 12% indoxacarb SC, for high content of mevinphos suspension (such as 3.4% mevinphos SC, 5.7% mevinphos SC) and its compounding formulations (such as 2% mevinphos + 10% bromoxynil SC, 4% mevinphos + 12% bromoxynil SC) is still a very good application effect, this additive are applicable!
